Abramar Incorporadora Ltda. (ABRAMAR) was founded in 1992 as a family real estate investment and development company with in Santa Catarina, Brazil. From 1992 through 2006 the primary focus was investing the family capital in income producing real estate. In 2007, recognizing the need for entry level housing for the country’s growing middle class the company brought in a new partner and CEO, Yannick Rault, and began aggressively pursuing new development opportunities. The company’s assets have grown dramatically with a new focus on development.

Value of our real estate assets

Abramar has historically valued the success of its business looking at the resale value of its assets under management vs. the purchase value of the same. Thanks to aggressive negotiating, good timing, trading, smart selling and quality developments Abramar has grown the value of its real estate assets along with the % of profit (2012 & 2013 includes forecast acquisitions).

Development Value of our Assets

Over the last couple of years we've performed in depth market analysis and examined the possibilities for large scale housing development in the state of Santa Catarina resulting in a pipeline of large projects to realize the state's full potential. In 2008 we started executing on the growth plans we set out in 2006. We track potential development value of our assets (only 'booking' the value once we have the pre-approval to allow development of the land). The 'Development value of assets' chart builds on the previous chart to show our potential development value and growth from 2005 to 2013 (2012 & 2013 includes forecast acquisitions).

Projects

Our first project, the community of Colina do Cedro, that we built under our new strategy is nearing completion and we are breaking ground on three new communities in 2012.
